BOZEMAN – No surprises today, the weather forecast is exactly what we expected with dry weather in the morning and building afternoon thunderstorms. Forecast models are showing most thunderstorms will be ending around 9 pm tonight. That would be great timing with improving the weather in time for fireworks tonight.

BOZEMAN: LOW: 46°; HIGH FRIDAY: 71°. Afternoon to early evening thunderstorms are possible for Bozeman. Most storms should diminish by sunset with clearing skies by 10:30 pm tonight so fireworks are a go! Friday more of the same with sunshine early and building clouds and a few late day rumbles.

BUTTE: LOW: 44°; HIGH FRIDAY: 71°. Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms are possible Thursday afternoon and early evening. Most storms will be ending around sunset. Friday a similar weather pattern will develop over Butte.

DILLON: LOW: 45°; HIGH FRIDAY: 72°. A few storms possible tonight, some might contain small hail and gusty winds. Friday there is a very low probability for thunderstorms with slightly warmer temperatures.

WEST YELLOWSTONE: LOW: 39°; HIGH FRIDAY: 71°. Watch for a few showers and isolated thunderstorms this afternoon and early evening. Friday should be mostly dry, however, there is a slight chance for a pop-up thunderstorm in the afternoon.
