Elaine Catherine Williamson died peacefully in Bozeman, Montana on March 30, 2018.
Elaine was born in Baker, Montana on June 2, 1926 to Alma Olson Robinson and Wallis Halliday Robinson. She had one brother, Richard. They were orphaned while still young, so Elaine was then raised by her father’s sister, Euphie and Sam Fouse. Elaine was Belfry High School valedictorian in 1944. She attended Montana State College two years where she was a member of Chi Omega fraternity. She and Hu Neil Williamson were married December 28, 1947 at Belfry, Montana. They lived in Sidney, Montana for over 50 years, moving to Bozeman after Hu retired in 1998.
At various stages of her life, Elaine enjoyed painting, quilting, and other crafts. She also enjoyed traveling.
Elaine was preceded in death by a daughter, Shelley; son, William; and husband, Hu.
She is survived by her children, Brooke Wallis Everest, Eric Robin Williamson, and Steven Hu Williamson, all of Bozeman; as well as grandsons, Nathan Hu Williamson and Lige Eric Williamson; and great-grandchildren, Sonia James Williamson, Raleigh Eruk Williamson, and Everette John Williamson.
No memorial services will be held.
