BOZEMAN — Women of Winter started last year when the founder, Christeen Walch was inspired by the creative, talented women around her. She coaches skiing at the Yellowstone Club and the women in her locker room were up to amazing things, starring in a Warren Miller Ski film, wood burning and resin art, but more importantly, they were kind, wonderful women who supported each other.
Women of Winter is back for this year! Featured speakers this year are Anna Tedesco, co-founder of Wander Women Collective and professional skier and KBZK's Missy O'Malley, entrepreneur, business owner, host, and DJ.
The event is open and free to the public at Blend Wine Bar this Friday, January 10.
Local businesses have donated raffle prizes, custom Arete skis will be auctioned off and money will be raised for girls to go thru avalanche courses.
