BOZEMAN — Three people are recovering after a Thursday afternoon crash just west of Bozeman.

MTN News arrived on scene just moments after the crash happened along Love Lane at the Durston Road intersection.

Montana Highway Patrol troopers say a driver was sent to the hospital with traumatic, yet non-life-threatening injuries.

While two people in the other vehicle, which flipped onto its side, were trapped inside.

Troopers, Gallatin County Sheriff's deputies and Hyalite Fire Department crews worked to free them and they suffered minor injuries.

“We’ve got growing pains in this community and all of these, all of our main highways and our secondary roads have a lot of traffic on them," says Sgt. Daniel Amundson, Montana Highway Patrol. "You’ve got to be diligent at all of these intersections. Heavy traffic...all the time, everyday around here.”

The crash is under investigation.
