Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Montana is contributing $1 million to support community action and health care access across the state in response to the pandemic.

The COVID-19 Community Collaborative Grant Fund was established to provide support in areas where communities need it most such as access to care and food security.

The direct organizations to receive funding will be announced at a later date.

The organization said along with the contribution that they have eliminated co-pays, deductibles, and other provisions for virus testing for its members.

Also, they have temporarily expanded telemedicine visits to include phone calls. All services and eliminations of deductibles will go through April 30th, 2020.
