A man died in Granite County Sunday morning after being thrown from his vehicle on Interstate 90, according to Montana Highway Patrol.
MHP responded to the incident around 8:30 a.m. Sunday. The man was driving a Nissan Xterra westbound on I-90 when he approached a left-hand curve near mile marker 150, west of Drummond.
According to MHP, the man was not wearing his seatbelt, veered off the road to the right, tried to correct and was thrown when the Xterra rolled.
The name of the man has not yet been released. MHP said the incident is still under investigation and it is not known at this time if speed, drugs, or alcohol were factors in the crash.
