Linda Boatman of Great Falls has published a book for kids that aims to teach them the value of hard work, and the importance of farming and ranching.

The book is called "Torgy the Tractor," and Boatman found her inspiration close to home.

“I work for Torgerson where we deal with a lot of red tractors, and that is what inspires Torgy the Tractor.”

The book was illustrated by Raymond Kelly, also of Great Falls.

The summary of the book: "Torgy, an adventurous tractor, experiences life through the eyes of a tractor on a farm in Montana. In this book, Torgy needs his cousin's help to get Farmer George's harvest completed."

You can buy the book at Torgerson’s (4701 River Drive North), or by calling the store at 406.453.1453 to order and have it shipped. You can also order it at Barnes & Noble or on Amazon .
