A man was found dead Friday night of a self-inflicted gunshot wound at the scene of a two-vehicle crash on Billings West End, according to police.
The man was driving a pickup west on Rimrock Road around 7 p.m. and rear ended a second pickup near the intersection of Zimmerman Drive, Billings police said.
Police said they didn't know whether the gunshot occured before or after the collision. The incident remains under investigation.
The driver of the second pickup was not injured.
