The American Red Cross of Montana has opened a shelter at the Blackfeet United Methodist Parish in Browning as the storm continues to fall in the area.

Areas have received more than three feet of snow and high winds that are creating blizzard-like conditions.

Red Cross shelters provide meals, information and access to other community resources. All services are free and everyone is welcome.

No reservations are needed and service animals are allowed.

For up-to-date information and alerts about emergencies in your area, download the Red Cross emergency app from your app store. It’s free and available to both iPhone and Android users.
