Guitar maker robbed in Billings en route to Red Lodge

BILLINGS – A North Dakota guitar maker is down two unique guitars, an amp and a pedal board after his pickup truck’s toolbox was broken into sometime between Thursday night and Friday morning.

Beau Theige creates handmade guitars and was on his way to Red Lodge for an artist reception and to talk about those guitars. He stayed the night in Billings, and, according to a Facebook post, he says his truck was broken into and some of his gear was stolen.

The guitars are very unique and are easy to spot. Theige is hoping that if you see them anywhere around town, you’ll contact him.
