Two people died in a crash in Flathead County on Saturday, according to the Montana Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at about 8 p.m. on Highway 2 at mile marker 101.
A Chevy Silverado was traveling west in the eastbound lane and a Dodge Dakota was traveling east in the appropriate lane.
Both cars swerved in an attempt to avoid each other which resulted in a head on collision, according to the MHP.
The driver of the Chevy, a 55-year-old man, was injured.
Both the driver of the Dodge, a 39-year-old man, and the passenger, a 32-year-old woman, died.
Their names have not yet been released.
The MHP says that alcohol is suspected as a factor, and they are continuing to investigate.
