BOZEMAN — On Monday morning, World War II veteran Ernest Hoffman was laid to rest at Sunset Hills Cemetery.

Hoffman was the oldest living WWII veteran in Montana before he passed away on June 29, at 106 years old.

While serving in the war he was a part of the Battle of the Bulge.
