Update: Missing person advisory canceled for Hardin girl

Update 8:10 a.m. Friday:

The Missing and Endangered Person Advisory for Lauren Krebs has been canceled, according to the Montana Department of Justice. Lauren has been located and is safe. No other information was released.


A Missing Endangered Person Advisory has been issued on behalf of the Big Horn County Sheriff's Office.

Lauren Krebs, a 13-year-old white female, has gone missing from Hardin. Lauren is 5 feet, 6 inches tall 120lbs, with blue eyes and blonde hair. Lauren left a residence around 2:15 p.m. stealing her parents vehicle.

The vehicle is a white 2015 Chevy Silverado with Montana license plate 228053C. Lauren is not currently on her medication, has harmed herself in the past, and there is concern that she may do so again.
