After a 32-0 win over Three Forks Friday night, the Columbus football team came to a devastating realization ; several sets of keys, cell phones, wallets and two cars were stolen around 9:00 p.m..
The vehicles, a BMW and an Audi, were stolen from team members.
Columbus police said that two individuals were seen driving the Audi in Park City, making a stop at the Zip Trip, where a stolen credit card was used to make a purchase.
The vehicle was found by police in Forsyth Saturday afternoon after it crashed.
The two suspects fled the scene but were quickly apprehended.
Both are in jail.
As of late Saturday afternoon, Columbus police were on their way to Forsyth to search the car, hoping to retrieve some of the stolen items.
Columbus police are still searching for the black BMW.
