BOZEMAN — The second anniversary of deadly Hurricane Maria is right around the corner. It caused $91.6 billion in damage and claimed the lives of more than 3,000 people.

The storm also wiped out 80 percent of the coffee plantations on the island.

The owner of Coqui Mountain Coffee, Julie Gandulla, has a special connection to the US territory in the Caribbean. Her father was born there. Next to the Western Cafe in downtown Bozeman sits Julie's shop that perfectly ties both sides of her family heritage to percolate the perfect cup of Joe.
