BOZEMAN — It’s that time of year again! The Bozeman Salvation Army kicked off its angel tree campaign Friday at the Gallatin Valley Mall.

The Salvation Army is asking residents to remember those who may be less fortunate this year and adopt a boy or girl from the angel tree.

Salvation army angel trees can be found at the mall or Ressler Motors in Bozeman. Recipients range in age, and anyone can adopt someone. The only requirement is a generous heart.

“You know, imagine a 5 or 6 years old, 7, 8-year old child, waking up on Christmas and not having anything. Even though we don’t remember the gifts necessarily as adults, we remember the memories. It’s helping make that special memory for that child and for that family,” said Lt. Rick Larson with the Salvation Army.

Participants have until Dec. 10 and can drop off their gifts at the mall, the Salvation Army, or Ressler Motors.
