BIG SKY — Some good news for drivers traveling to and from Big Sky.

The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) just finished work on three bridges right in time before snow covers roadways.

The Big Sky bridge decks project fully repaired, a bridge at the intersection of Highway 64 and 191, a bridge by Little Coyote Road, and lastly, another bridge along Highway 191.

Repairs focused on the bridge surfaces, including fixing potholes and cracks, repairing supportive layers, and in one case rebuilding the bridge.
All the bridges are in the Big Sky area.

MDT wanted to complete this project before the winter season and was successful in doing just that.
