CHURCHILL — Manhattan Christian School in Churchill held its Annual Harvest Festival Saturday.

The community has been coming together to celebrate the fall harvest and gather in support of Manhattan Christian School since 1962.

The festival had craft booths, kids activities, tasty treats, as well as a live and silent auction.

The school’s superintendent says the Fall Harvest Festival gives people the chance to celebrate and catch up after a busy fall harvest season, while helping support the school.

“It means a lot. You consider the weather today. I drove in and I’m going oh Lord, what do you have up your sleeve with this one. And your heart just gets full,” said Manhattan Christian School Superintendent Tim Visser.

“You see all these people and all these friends and they’ve come from all over the place. It says a lot about this community and what they’re committed to.”

The harvest festival also included a tractor show outside of the school.

All proceeds from the festival go to Manhattan Christian School.
