BOZEMAN — Despite Mother Nature throwing a curveball, a program dedicated to getting unused prescriptions off the streets had a good month.
October Drug Take Back Day collected 18 pounds of expired medications.
According to the Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office -- that was in spite of a snow storm.
Bozeman City Police and sheriff’s deputies say it’s a good reminder of the effort -- which is still ongoing.
You can find drop boxes in most law enforcement offices across Gallatin County -- including the Law and Justice Center.
