The Laurel School District is shifting some elementary school student to online-only learning for the next two weeks because of staff and substitute teacher shortages.

All third and fourth-grade students at Graff Elementary School and first-grade students at West Elementary School will shift to online only on Monday, Nov. 2 through Nov. 13, Superintendent Linda Filpula said in a letter to parents.

All other grade levels and students will continue with their current schedules.

Students who need to pick up a device for online learning can register here. Pickup for the devices will be 4-6 p.m. Sunday at the Administration Building at 410 Colorado Ave.

Meal bundles for first, third, and fourth-grade students may be picked up at Graff School in the small parking lot off Sixth Street on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. These meals are available for any student in these grades. Bundles will include breakfast and lunch for two days.

Graff and West offices will be open during normal business hours. Call the schools at any time with questions about online learning.
