Saturday was day two and the final round of the NRA's Ennis Rodeo, and fans were glad to see the abundance of caution rodeo organizers and the Madison County board of health took to ensure everyone's safety.
Hand sanitizer stations could be found all around the venue, along with signs that reminded folks to practice social distancing.
Masks were deemed optional at the rodeo, leaving the responsibility in the hands of the fans and spectators themselves. Ennis rodeo director Chief Croy hoped that everyone would safely enjoy the night while we all work towards bringing back a sense of normalcy.
“Absolutely, you have to try," Croy said. "Somebody has to work through it so that hopefully we can get going. The rodeo is going to be a good thing all year."
