BOZEMAN — The Bozeman Beautification Advisory Board is currently accepting nominations for eye-catching projects that add to the beauty of Bozeman.

The public is encouraged to nominate their neighbors, businesses or development projects that make the community a more beautiful place to live through landscaping, public art or innovative renovations.

Projects may include little libraries, murals, sculptures or gardens. And categories range from best sustainable style to a neighborhood revitalization award that recognizes projects that seek to preserve historic buildings around town.

“We have about 12 categories that help everybody decide what projects to nominate. And then we’ll try to have a really diverse group of winners,” said Ellie Staley with the Downtown Bozeman Partnership.

“So there will be something from landscape design to kids projects to something that just really epitomizes Bozeman,” she said.

The deadline for nominations from the public is Sept. 23 and winners will be announced and recognized on Wednesday, Nov. 13, at the Baxter Hotel.
