BOZEMAN — High school students are slated to return to more in-person learning at the start of the semester, unless they choose the remote learning route.

Students can return to school four days of the week starting the beginning of the next semester, which is Jan. 27.

That’s unless newly developed metrics signal to trustees and administrators that it’s not appropriate in weeks to come.

Switching to middle school students, they will move to five days in-person learning on Feb. 1, a week after the next school board meeting.

That decision passed 7-0 in favor of the switch.

Elementary students will remain in their current schedule of five days a week, in-person learning.
