American Legion Post #14 in Bozeman will host its annual Memorial Day service at 11 a.m. on Monday. The event will take place at the Vietnam War Memorial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
There will be no seating and no Gold Star presentation this year, but the Legion says there will be ample outside space for groups of 10 or less to socially distance.
"Rain, shine, or snow we will Honor our Fallen Veterans, their families and loved ones," Post #14 wrote on its website. "This is America and this is Montana and we have earned our Freedom."
The Legion was not able to hold its annual downtown parade due to coronavirus restrictions, instead holding a "silent march" with six veterans down Main Street Monday morning.
