The Beartooth Highway opened Friday to Vista Point at the Wyoming state line.
Montana Department of Transportation plows have been working to clear snow from the road for the past few weeks.
The road typically opens the Friday before Memorial Day.
If you drive up there this weekend, watch out. Forecasts are indicating rain in the region with more snow falling in the Beartooth Mountains.
