An 82-year-old Fromberg woman died in a one-vehicle rollover crash on U.S. Highway 310 near Bridger Monday morning, according to the Montana Highway Patrol.
The crash also injured a 60-year-old Fromberg man, who was a passenger in the vehicle. Neither he nor the woman, who was driving, were wearing seat belts, and both were thrown from the vehicle.
Troopers said the vehicle left the road around 9:45 a.m., vaulted a driveway and collided with a barbed wire fence.
Carbon County Sheriff Josh McQuillan said he plan to release the identity of the victim Tuesday.
