BOZEMAN, Mont.- Saturday, June 1 is National Trails Day across the country and Gallatin County is celebrating by cleaning up one of the trails in the community.
Gallatin Valley Land Trust and Bozeman Health are partnering on Saturday morning for some hands-on work to improve the trails at the Highland Glen Nature Preserve. Each year, GVLT chooses a different trail that needs some cleaning up. The two organizations partner to manage and maintain the Highland Glen Trails.
The event begins at 8:30 a.m at the southeast corner of Highland Blvd and Ellis Street. Volunteers who are interested do not need to RSVP and tools will be provided. Gloves are recommended and no experience is necessary.
National Trails Day serves as an opportunity for trail users to give back to the spaces they love.
