BOZEMAN, Mont. – The annual Take Back The Night event begins Wednesday, April 10, 2019, from 8:30 pm to 10:00 pm at the Ballroom at the Baxter.
This morning we learned about this year’s theme for this year’s event – Shared Solutions, referring to the Missing & Murdered Indigenous Women & Girls Crisis. Two women passionate about the cause, Erika Ross, Graduate Teaching Assistant from the MSU Dept of Native American Studies and from the Blackfeet Nation, Christen Falcon, an ambassador for the American Indian College Fund came in to get the word out about this year’s event.
Enjoy free music, dancing, and pizza or take a picture at the photo booth to commemorate your involvement in this year’s Take Back the Night Events. Element tattoo will be tattooing three special survivor-related designs for only $50 per tattoo, and all proceeds will benefit the SASA Survivor Fund. Music will be provided by DJ Free Will. Drinks will be available for purchase at the cash bar.
