BOZEMAN, Mont. – Montana State University’s North Gym is officially no more.
MSU officials say the demolition of the South Gym is underway.
Bulldozers began clearing out debris Thursday morning, about a month after its roof collapsed.
MSU officials say the Upper Gym will follow after it.
The rest of the fitness center remains closed until the end of the semester, while students and other fitness center users still have access to “pop-up” gyms in several locations across campus.
Staff say they expect debris removal of the South Gym to be complete by to Friday or Monday.
