He met John Denver and started playing guitar with him when he was only 16. Jim Salestrom went on to play with Dolly Parton for the past few decades, he has toured the world, played for presidents and now he is pairing up with an old friend, local composer, Eric Funk to take the stage at the Ellen at 7 pm Wednesday night for an evening of song, storytelling, and fun.
