New way to get hydrated in Bozeman

BOZEMAN, Mont.- Most people only get an IV (Intravenous Therapy) for hydration at a hospital, but now it’s something you can get in Bozeman without a visit to the ER.

IV4Wellness offers cellular hydration for athletes, people who are ill or just people who are dehydrated.

The IV bag is full of vitamins and minerals and includes no chemicals.

According to the owner of the business, located in Bozeman’s Cannery District, this method of hydration is much quicker than drinking water.

“Anything that you eat or drink has to go through your GI tract, so you’re going to lose some of that it’s not going to all get absorbed by your body, plus drinking water you have to think about it all day long,” said the owner of IV4Wellness, Devin Jones. “You constantly have to stay on top of it. You can sit down for 30 minutes, you can get a bag of fluids put directly into your body and you’re pretty much done and ready and rehydrated.”

All of the IVs are given by medical personnel.
