BOZEMAN, Mont. – An expected 5,000 trick-or-treaters can make their way to downtown Bozeman on Halloween to get candy from over 150 businesses.
From 4-6 p.m. on Wednesday, trick-or-treaters can walk on the sidewalks and crosswalks, but Main Street will not be closed down.
“You know the Bozeman businesses, the downtown businesses embrace this every year,” said Ellie Staley with the Downtown Bozeman Association. “They dress up, they have themes. We have a costume contest. And they are really into it. They want Bozeman families to come down and enjoy their community. So it is a great event.”
Bozeman Police, Fire and Street Departments are working to make sure that kids stay safe. They ask that drivers stay away from Main Street and take detours if possible.
