Fall River Electric has announced a planned power outage in the West Yellowstone area for early Thursday morning.
The outage will affect all of West Yellowstone, according to Fall River, and will begin at 1 a.m. Thursday, lasting approximately four hours. Fall River expects power to be restored by 5 a.m.
Workers will be repairing transmission lines at the request of the Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) to avoid a larger, unplanned outage later.
