BOZEMAN, Mont. – The Human Resource Development Council (HRDC) and The Gallatin Valley Food Bank are currently putting together their annual Healthy KidsPack Program.
The program is to ensure children in Gallatin and Madison County have access to food over the weekends.
Last year, more than 12,000 backpacks with 4 pounds of food were given out in the community. This year, Bozeman’s Community Food Co-op is matching donations up to $7,350.
“We decided to support this program because we feel it’s incredibly valuable to help ensure that all the kids in our community have access to healthy food and nutrition over the weekend,” said Co-Op Marketing and Membership Manager Alison Germain.
