Winter weather caused dangerous driving conditions Friday evening across Montana.
Two people were killed earlier tonight on Highway 12, between East Helena and Winston.
According to Montana Highway Patrol, two females in a west-bound Buick lost control of their vehicle, due to speed and the current road conditions.
They crossed the center lane of traffic, hitting an eas- bound truck.
The driver of the truck was checked for minor injuries and released.
The names of the victims have not yet been released.
The crash delayed traffic on Highway 12, but troopers say the road is now clear.
