ON Saturday January 18th in Helena, activists on both sides of the abortion debate marched in advocacy of their views at the 2020 Women’s March in Memorial Park and March for Life at the State Capitol.
On Sunday afternoon, Great Falls Catholics For Life marched to Planned Parenthood in Great Falls to share their beliefs.
Dozens of marchers walked the nearly one-and-a-half mile trek from Our Lady of Lourdes Parish to Planned Parenthood.
Activists of all ages participated, including a group of Great Falls Central Catholic High School students against abortion: Mustangs For Life, led by Clara Kimmel.
Kimmel said it's important for other students her age to do the same.
“You have the ability to come out and take a stand on something this big, especially being as young as we all are. we can come out and actually be important in this time in our lives," Kimmel said.
She added that if students feel like they can make a difference, they will be more inclined to get involved.
“Young people if they know they can have an impact in this, then they will come out and take a stand,” Kimmel said.
Great Falls Catholics for Life will hold a memorial for the unborn at 1:00 pm on February 23 at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
