PLAINS - The Knowles Fire, six miles east of Paradise, has grown from 3,790 acres to 3,822 acres, with containment increasing to 26%.
Firefighters continue to hold, improve, and mop up along established control lines.
There are 235 personnel assigned to the wildfire.
Residents of the McLaughlin area remain under a pre-evacuation notice.
The Knowles Fire began on August 17.
