HELENA — East Helena Boy Scouts delivered almost 1,700 cans of coffee to veterans.

It is all part of the Coffee 4 Vets program set by The Mountain States chapter of the Paralyzed Veterans of America organization.

Earlier in the year, Troop 212 built a storage shed for the coffee at Fort Harrison. The shed came in handy as the 1,700 is the most donations received in a year of collecting coffee.

The Coffee 4 Vets program allows for any outpatient clinic in the state to give free coffee to their veterans as they visit with their doctor.
