BELGRADE — We have new information about a fire that started late Saturday afternoon just off Royal Road outside of Belgrade.
The Gallatin County Sheriff's Office confirmed that neighbors reported hearing gunshots in the area just before the mobile home on the property erupted into flames.
It’s been reported that there were no injuries or casualties as a result of the fire, and the livestock that were on the property are also reported to be okay and are being taken care of.
Investigators obtained search warrants Monday and the Sheriff’s Office, along with the State Fire Marshal’s Office are on the scene investigating.
“This is a crime scene. Obviously the Sheriff’s Department will not let you in right now,” said Bruce Henneqin, Fire Marshal at the Central Valley Fire District. “There’s scene tape up and we just ask that people abide by the scene tape and stay out of the area.”
We will keep you updated as we get new information.
