The owner of a Billings bar says a weekend shooting at his establishment was an accident.
Michael Morgan, the owner of Shooters Sports Bar, told Q2 News that he heard a woman tell police that she dropped a gun from her purse, and it went off, with the round striking another woman.
A 24-year-old woman was transported to a Billings hospital Saturday, and a 22-year-old woman was arrested, Billings police reported early Sunday morning.
Police did not identify either woman. They also did not return a Q2 message Monday for comment on Morgan's description of events.
