BOZEMAN — Campus police at Montana State University are on the lookout for someone that might be looking somewhere that he shouldn’t be.

Investigators say a student caught him looking through a laundry room window of an all-girls’ dorm.

MSU campus police say this was first reported last week but still are looking for a suspect.

A student living in Hapner Hall told officers that an older white man with medium height, brown eyes, short brown hair and a purple shirt was peering through one of the ground floor windows.

“Keeping the campus community safe is a priority for the university so we have these emergency notifications and timely warnings and public safety advisories to make sure that we are being absolutely transparent with people so they know the situations that are going on on campus," says Michael Becker, MSU News Service director.

Campus officials say it is a good reminder to check out the Safe Cats app, which is free to download and provides a variety of services to help keep students safe and report suspicious activity like this.
