KALISPELL — A man is in custody after a woman was injured in a weekend shooting in the Flathead Valley.
Flathead County Sheriff Brian Heino reports the shooting happened on Farm to Market Road near Kalispell on Sunday at 3 a.m.
Law enforcement was dispatched to the scene for a woman inside a vehicle with a gunshot wound.
64-year-old Peter Johnson is facing charges for felony assault with a weapon for the incident.
Details are limited at this time, but the shooting is still under investigation.
