Two men connected to Yellowstone hit-and-run, arrested for meth plea not guilty

BOZEMAN, Mont. – Two men facing multiple felony charges after police found them with more than a pound of meth pleaded not guilty in Gallatin County District Court.

Luis Alberto Garcia and Eric Jasper Lebeau were arrested on May 31st near Belgrade.

Police discovered the two had prior felonies and were suspects in a hit-and-run crash in Yellowstone National Park just the night before, on May 30, 2019.

Upon a search of the men’s backpacks, police reportedly found more than a pound of meth, $9,000 in cash and a loaded revolver.

The two men remain in jail.
