Gallatin County Sheriff Deputy Colter Metcalf has a personal interest in stopping domestic violence.
On Saturday, April 6, 2019, Metcalf will help facilitate a community meeting to discuss the impact of domestic violence on communities in Gallatin County.
Metcalf’s idea started with a very simple, yet disturbing stat: no matter where he has patrolled, there have been many cases of domestic abuse seen.
He hopes that his message this weekend will hit home for many.
“Whether you realize it or not, you have been affected by domestic violence,” Metcalf says. “It affects everybody.”
A free meal, refreshments will also be provided at the River Rock community center Saturday, April 6, 2019, at 6 pm.
