Woman reportedly sexually assaulted Thursday night in Bozeman

BOZEMAN, Mont. – Bozeman Police say a woman reported being sexually assaulted on Thursday evening in the 1000 block of W. Oak St.

Officers responded to the report at approximately 10 p.m.

The woman said a man had placed his arm around her shoulder and groped her in a sexual manner. She was able to force the man away and he was last seen fleeing the area on foot.

Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the man.

The suspect is described as an approximately 40-50-year-old white man, approximately 5’5 with short hair. He was wearing a blue t-shirt and baggie shorts that extended past the knee.

No one was injured during the assault and it appears to be an isolated incident.
