A Missoula woman who is accused of stabbing a man to death was ordered to be committed to the state mental health hospital.
Nancy Wright, 47, is accused of deliberate homicide in the death of her neighbor, 42-year-old Philip Benjamin.
Wright allegedly stabbed Benjamin while he was sleeping in his apartment early last month.
Missoula Judge Shane Vannatta has ordered the Wright to spend no more than 60 days at Montana State Hospital, according to court documents.
She is to undergo a mental health evaluation and will also be screened for mental disorders or disabilities.
Wright was arrested on Nov. 12 for a separate incident. During the arrest she told officers she "killed" Benjamin.
