Joseph Michell Regimbal, Jr., has been charged after he was allegedly found with illegal drugs while incarcerated at the Cascade County Detention Center.

Court documents state that on Sunday, December 29, officers conducted a search of Regimbal's cell; they found a white powdery substance wrapped in white paper. The substance field-tested as a likely opiate.

Regimbal is in custody on a probation revocation warrant. Court documents note that Regimbal last week was involved in an assault on another inmate, in which the victim's shoulder was dislocated.

Regimbal also has a felony conviction for theft. The Cascade County Detention Center inmate roster also lists the following: assault, reckless driving, obstructing a peace officer, and stop sign violation.

Regimbal has been charged with criminal possession of dangerous drugs.
