2 hospitalized after Blackfoot Valley head-on crash

UPDATE

GREENOUGH - The Montana Highway Patrol is investigating a head-on collision that happened in the Blackfoot Valley on Saturday afternoon.

The crash occurred at approximately 2:45 p.m. near Nine Mile Prarie Road off of Montana Highway 200, in the area of the Paws Up Resort.

A 25-year-old driver was flown to Saint Patrick Hospital with serious injuries. with the other driver -- a 55-year- old -- was taken by ambulance to St. Patrick Hospital also with serious injuries.

MHP said that speed is a factor in the crash, which remains under investigation.

The Montana Highway Patrol reports a crash near Nine Mile Prairie road off Montana Highway 200 sent two people to an area hospital.

MHP reports the Saturday accident was a head-on collision between two vehicles.

One driver was flown to Saint Patrick Hospital while the other victim was driven by ambulance.

MHP troopers are still on scene investigating the crash.
