The Rocky Boy's Indian Reservation has implemented a 72-hour lockdown.
The lockdown went into effect at 10 p.m. on Sunday (August 9), and will continue until Wednesday (August 12) at 6 a.m.
The Rocky Boy Health Center incident command team and Chippewa Cree Tribe announced the lockdown on Friday, one day after announcing that two people had died due to "contributing factors related to COVID-19."
The 'red threat level four' means a total shutdown on the reservation, and only essential workers are allowed to be out. Travel is limited during this time, and social gathering are prohibited.

(AUGUST 6, 2020) Health officials on the Rocky Boy's Indian Reservation on Thursday confirmed the deaths of two men due to "contributing factors related to COVID-19."
In a news release, the Rocky Boy Health Center in Box Elder said that one man was in his 50s and one man was in his 60s, adding that both men had "underlying health conditions."
These are the first deaths reported on the reservation. No other details have been released.
