Ravalli County Public Health reports the weekend deaths were a male in his 90’s, a male in his 70’s and a male in his 50’s. No further information is being released.

“Our heartfelt condolences go out to their families. These are unprecedented times and a loss of a family member or community member, regardless of age, brings a painful impact to bear on all that knew them,” Ravalli County Public Health Director Tiffany Webber said.

Ravalli County Public Health is also reporting a total of 108 newly confirmed COVID-19 cases from the weekend. There were 68 new positive cases reported on Saturday and 40 new cases confirmed on Sunday.

The news comes after the county set a single-day record for newly confirmed COVID-19 cases of 92 on Friday. Weber says there are currently 725 active cases in Ravalli County, up from the 669 reported on Friday.

“Public Health is working 7 days a week to contact families with diagnosed illness to determine isolation and quarantine dates,” Webber said in the Monday update.

Webber is also asking residents to follow the recommended guidelines listed below to reduce the risk of exposure.

  • Wear a mask when in public
  • Maintain the 6’ distance
  • Keep your cohort circle small
  • Frequently wash your hands and use hand sanitizer when washing is not available
